ALPI presents the latest news from its wood collections at Arkeda.
The story of the expressive languages ​​of the new collections 2017 of ALPI woods, presented at the FuoriSalone in Milan last April, continues in Arkeda outlining a unique and original path in which different atmospheres coexist: evocative, warm and tactile in wood reproductions, innovative, visual and dynamic in graphic works.

From the elegant aesthetics of Piero Lissoni, new and exclusive wooden patterns flow: Ikat which reproduces a new graphic decoration and Thermo and Blush Cherry, which instead enhance the natural characteristics of the wood. The Xilo collection 2.0, instead it is enriched with four other versions: Stuff 2.0 1-Flamed, Stuff 2.0 2-Flamed, Stuff 2.0 Planked-Flamed and Xilo 2.0 Striped XL.

In the new Legacy collection, curated by Piero Lissoni, ALPI places the identity of the material at the center of its research, by means of a fascinating production process, achieving the goal of reproducing the material essence of wood by embracing its intrinsic elements.
This new collection features lost essences such as ebony, teak, wenge, rosewood and zebrawood, whose species is threatened or in danger of extinction and consequently their use is practically prohibited.

The proposals signed by Kengo Kuma, Maritime Pine e Japanese Cedar, they tell the expressive identity of the material in its primordial aspect, through the exploration of the strength and roughness of nature: The use of the tree bark is thus favored as a communicative sign that contains the essence of the material, becoming its most striking feature.

The lines of the graphic design are at the center of the innovative and original Sushi proposal by the Campana Brothers, that challenging nature, they recreate a dynamic and dreamy pattern.
