Time is the theme chosen for the 11th edition, the art and value of human relationships at the center of professional training

Napoli, 14 October – Read the influence of time on the work of architects, engineers, designer and investigate the effects it produces on works and projects. This is the theme at the center of the eleventh edition of Seeing, Architecture salon, building, design and furniture organized by Progecta, leading company in the organization of trade fair events. The appointment will take place in Naples, in the Mostra d'Oltremare, dal 29 November to December 1st.

The theme of time in its three declinations, past, future and present, and its human meaning will also be represented throughuntil, distinctive feature of the eleventh edition of Arkeda.

Will be Franz Cerami, with the story of his light installations, to open the inaugural congress of the Show: the artist and light designer will discuss with the professionals how the concept of time has evolved also in world of culture. The time, Indeed, it punctuates and modifies the designer's work but also revolutionizes the very way of conceiving the work, both in art and in architecture. Because of this, in Arkeda there will be space for exhibitions, performances and special events, which will also characterize the numerous training opportunities offered to professionals, for a fair that has always focused on the rediscovery of the value of human relationships.

The fair, who enjoys the sponsorship of the Order of Architects of Naples, of the Order of Engineers of Naples, of the National Council of Architects, planners, Landscapers, Conservatory, of the National Council of Engineers and many other local professional associations, will offer four workshops, all united by the theme chosen for the 11th edition: the time that sets the pace for the professional's growth.

“Even for this eleventh edition – he states Lorenzo Capobianco, president of the Order of Planning Architects, landscape architects and conservators of Naples – Arkeda confirms itself as one of the most important events of the year for the community of Neapolitan architects. In addition to the possibility of updating "in the field" with respect to the innovations proposed by the market, Arkeda is among the very few trade fairs in the sector to combine the exhibition with moments of both technical and cultural theoretical training. In this edition the participation of the Order, confirming the growth trend of recent years, it will be particularly rich in contents of great interest, among which several exhibitions stand out, presentations and workshops that will be set up and organized in our stand in collaboration and thanks also to other Orders of Italy. We will address topics of absolute centrality to the profession and cultural sensitivity of the architect, in particular regarding the issues of accessibility and project strategies for the intervention on the historical-artistic heritage, which constitutes the center of the contemporary architectural project”.

The laboratory Future System will be dedicated to experimentation and innovation, hosting the presentation of cutting-edge technologies; Perfectly Done it will focus on the iconic products always used by the masters of architecture and design; The Knowledge it will show how to master the materials in complex or difficult conditions like the current one; More Time will present project systems and ethical creations, proposing a philosophy of environmental recovery, always married by Arkeda.

“We confirm the historic presence of the Order in Arkeda. The common thread of our participation – he explains Gennaro Annunziata, president of the Order of Engineers of Naples – will be in line with the theme chosen for the edition 2024: time with its three declinations, past, present and future. It is a concept that belongs to us, it is no coincidence that we used it last year on the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of the Register. As engineers we remain firmly rooted in the present, reflecting on what has been done for the country system and on what still needs to be done. Furthermore, for the eleventh edition of the Show, we have decided to propose some new features: in our stand we will host events and micro-events on topics that are very close to our hearts, important for the construction and construction sector, but also extremely topical. We will therefore be a "Technical Square" which also aims to disseminate. Let's talk to the technicians, right, but not only that: we want to turn to our colleagues and, more, open ourselves to all visitors".

For the eleventh edition, on Saturdays 30 November and Sunday 1 December, Arkeda's doors will open not only to professionals but also to the public interested in discovering what's trending in a city, Napoli, which is confirmed capital of design in the Mediterranean.
