Arkeda prepares for the XIII edition, the theme of the salon is connections

In Naples since 28 al 30 November. There will be three evenings of the Fuorisalone

Connections: the connection with the environment, the relationship with technology, the ethical responsibility of the professional. This is the theme chosen as the underlying theme of the twelfth edition of Arkeda, Architecture salon, building, design and furnishings organized by Progecta, leading company in the organization of trade fair events. The event will take place at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples from Friday 28 see you on Sunday 30 November.

Architects, engineers, designers and planners are called to reflect on how their choices can generate, strengthen or redefine these fundamental connections. First of all, protecting the environment, absolute priority for those designing the world of tomorrow. Then the chapter on the 'artificial' ones: we need to understand and master the new tools. Make room for 'moral' ones, being aware of your social and ethical role because the professional's work is not neutral: has an impact on society, on human relationships, on the sense of places.

“The theme Connections – observes Roberto Cappelli, Scientific director of the Salone – it must be understood as 'being in tune' with the time in which we live and work as design professionals. Taking up the legacy of thinkers like John Ruskin, with the reference to 7 lamps of the architecture of 1949, Seeing 2025 invites us to reinterpret the ethical foundations in a contemporary key: beauty, truth, justice, community service".

The inaugural conference of the Show, scheduled for Friday 28, will focus on the theme Connections and will be hosted by Giorgio Tartaro.

All eyes are also on Arkeda's Fuorisalone which for the 2025 has three appointments scheduled. One Thursday 27 November at 19, on the eve of the opening of the Show, dal titolo ‘ROAD to ARKEDA’: Via Cinthia 4 showroom with a preview of objects and furnishings connected to Arkeda by Iris, Habitats and Sofas & Sofas that will welcome architects, engineers and interior designers with music and light dinner. Friday 28 November, always at 19, the historic organizers of the Arkeda Fuorisalone, in via Piedigrotta, they will turn the lights back on and bring STREET of DESING to life: music and cocktails accompanied by Neapolitan cuisine, all prepared in the Arrichiello showrooms, Ernesto Meda e Project Light. In the end, il 29 November, for Arkeda's main night, the Baxter store will bring the Saturday night of Design to life with finger food and bubbles: the owner of the house Michele Iervolino will welcome his architect friends in his new showroom in via Michelangelo Schipa.
