SEEING 2021 UNVEILS 'THE DIMENSIONS OF ARCHITECTURE' IN NAPLES – VIII EDITION AT MOSTRA D'OLTREMARE FROM 3 AL 5 DECEMBER

 

Napoli, 8 November – “This year's Arkeda theme – The dimensions of Architecture – attempts to reveal new aspects that reveal profound links between this discipline and society, the environment and all their sudden changes". As Roberto Cappelli, Director of Seeing, in presenting the eighth edition of the Architecture Exhibition, building, design and furniture, appointment organized by Progecta and scheduled for 3-4-5 December 2021 at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples.

'The dimensions of Architecture' – in the pavilions 5 (design) e 6 (materials technology) of the Fuorigrotta structure – will be articulated by proposing again 4 laboratories inspired by the dimensional and relational contrast of architectural spaces. An actual implementation of the products will take place in the Arkeda laboratories, of projects and subjects: the participating companies with the speakers and operators who represent them together with the tutors will have to demonstrate the state of research of their products and technical performance. The training will have a modern imprint not only with frontal lessons, but also by taking advantage of an arena with two tutors and the audience that comes into direct contact with the interlocutors.

In its approx 8thousand m2 Arkeda will host exhibitors of the high range of interior design and furnishings, outdoor, home automation, offices, kitchens, wellness space, coatings, decorations, crafts, 7 excellent exhibitions, a Theater of Ideas in which to bring into play a character who makes himself known by telling his story in the world of design and architecture while having a coffee with the audience. The surface, But, it won't just be that of the Mostra d'Oltremare because, as usual, the appointment with the outside Arkeda salon that for the 2021 it will be on three roads to increasingly involve the city: via Piedigrotta, via Chiatamone, via Dei Mille for three Fridays (26 November, 3 e 10 December).

They won't be missed training courses and thematic focuses – they will be about 30 on architecture, design, materials, technologies, created in collaboration with the professional associations and the Federico II and Vanvitelli universities – well i 15 courses with the award of cfp.

The demonstration – which enjoys the patronage of the National Council of Architects P.P.C., of Orders of Architects throughout Italy, of the Engineers, of the Adi, of designer associations and universities – in its latest edition it saw the participation of over 12 thousand architects and engineers and aims to beat this attendance record in the year of the restart after the pandemic.
