Arkeda closes, the show grows with international buyer-exhibitor business with culture

The curtain has fallen on the twelfth edition of Arkeda, Architecture salon, building, design and furniture, which was held from 28 al 30 November at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples: great news of 2025 the presence of a delegation of 35 international buyers selected by Ice, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, made up of architectural firms – coming from Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Türkiye and Hungary – which led to well 156 contacts developed with exhibiting companies that have chosen to be present at Arkeda.

They were 210 the exhibitors on the 8 thousand square meters of exhibition area of ​​the pavilions 4, 5 e 6 of the Fuorigrotta exhibition center, 12.500 presence of professionals from all over Italy.

The event hosted over three days 44 between conferences, training and refresher events, 16 exhibitions, 9 presentations and showcases. The presence of provincial orders of architects from all over Italy has grown and has reached a quota 56, in addition to the participation of the National Council.

Arkeda too, one of the six trade fairs organized in Naples annually by Progecta, deserves the title “international fair”. Angioletto de Negri says it, patron of Progecta, which thus refers to the presence at the Salone dei 35 international buyers. “This year too – he continues – Our Show proved to be a unique opportunity for professionals in the construction world, of architecture, del design. We have achieved the objective of making Arkeda an event of connected exchanges and comparisons between national and international professionals and exhibitors, giving the advantage – concludes De Negri – to meet in Naples, which is increasingly a trade fair center and driving force for the national economy".

“The National Council, since the creation of Arkeda, he believed in this event – ​​says Massimo Crusi, president of the National Council of Architects, planners, landscape architects and conservators – which at the territorial level of the South is a great opportunity, because it connects the title of the connection between various aspects of this central year, among nature, structures and organizations, therefore we believe in this event that we wanted to organize the Sirica Prize 2025 on natural disaster emergencies".

“Arkeda – highlights Andrea Prota, president of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Naples – it is the annual event that all technicians wait for, and engineers certainly cannot be missing. This year we relaunched our participation, we set up a stand with also a consultation desk where the councilors met with members for their various needs. Arkeda is an opportunity in which engineers can acquire training credits on extremely current topics and, at the same time, visit the stands to update on the latest products useful for the activity that everyone carries out".

For Roberto Cappelli, Arkeda scientific curator, the twelfth edition just concluded was “a bit of an Arkeda edition’ special, which brought unexpected success, more than other years, both for natural growth that this type of manifestations has, but also a little’ because we wanted to change something. The term 'connections', which refers to being in tune with society's problems, the environment, morality and technology, we also extended it to connect with the other arts: in fact this year we talked a lot about cinema, of literature, of art, of painting, of photography, the essential components for the culture of an architect".

The calendar of autumn fairs ends with Arkeda 2025 Projected. All eyes on the next Mediterranean Tourism Exchange scheduled at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples from 12 al 14 March 2026.
