PENETRON
The PENETRON® crystallization concrete waterproofing system is used as the most advanced solution for the creation of underground and hydraulic structures with a waterproof structural seal. Applied to existing surfaces in positive and negative phases (against push), or included in the "mix design" of the project being packaged in the newly built structures, ensures internal protection of the concrete matrix even in the presence of groundwater and hydraulic pressure, with high resistance to chemical concentrations and contaminants present in the subsoil or in the marine environment.
The reaction of Penetron® active ingredients reacting with soluble compounds in concrete (free calcium hydroxide-lime) form a new crystalline complex, filiform, insoluble (CSH, Hydrated Calcium Silicate), which seals the pores, the capillaries and cracks up to 400 micron.
This advanced technology offers a unique self-regenerating property for “total protection” of the structural matrix. The benefits brought are numerous, especially against freeze-thaw cycles, corrosion from atmospheric agents, subsoil humidity, waters containing chlorides, sulfates, nitrates, the aggressiveness of the marine environment and industrial constructions
